I am used to shooting arrows with plastic/rubber vanes, but I recently got feathered arrows that are a better spine for my bow. I was using a little cheap arrow rest (the black folding plastic ones) with the arrows with the plastic vanes.
Is there an advantage in taking off the plastic arrow rest and shooting directly from the arrow shelf (with the bigger shelf, is it easier to aim or shoot without a nocking point)? Or is there zero difference and I should just continue using the plastic arrow rest?
