I get the concept of trying to group bareshaft arrows with your fletched arrows to make sure you're not relying on the fletches to correct the flight of an arrow which wasn't fired perfectly straight.
My problem is that the fletched arrows naturally are going to weigh more and have more air drag, so shouldn't they be expected to drop more than the bare shafts? If so, if you got the bare shafts grouping exactly with the fletched arrows, wouldn't that mean your rest was slightly too high?
