I'm buying arrows for the first time since my bow (and arrows) were given to me almost four years ago, and before I do that, I've decided to familiarize myself with all of the things that I had no idea made a difference in grouping and accuracy so that I can make an informed decision about which type of arrows I want to get.
It's all very exciting, and I'm learning a lot. But my teeny issue is each time I open a blog post, I encounter a new acronym or bit of terminology or something that the author assumes I must be familiar with, (that I am most certainly not familiar with.) So, I open a new tab to find the definition, which leads me to another blog post with MORE unfamiliar terminology... lather, rinse, repeat.
I'm currently 13 tabs deep and the rabbit trailing is endless. Which isn't a bad thing! I'm very happy to learn this the hard way, but I'd still like to know if any of you have any particular resources you learned from when you were early in your archery journey that explained the basics of arrow spines, GPI, bow poundage, bow type, and how all of these various components act together to affect the trajectory of a given shot.
Thanks so very much in advance, and happy Sunday to everybody.
