Last summer I finally got a bow in my wife's hands and she was hooked. Since then I have built her a longbow and gotten her some equipment and she absolutely loves it. However due to Covid we can't shoot at a range so the best I can manage is 20ft distance into a home made target.
My main issue is coaching her. It's been years since I had any form of coaching myself and if I remember correctly form tends to be slightly different for female shooters. She also struggles with her bow draw a bit (28#@28" with her drawing around 26) and "getting her shoulders to do what she wants them to"
Any advice for teaching her particularly from female shooters would be greatly appreciated. Iv shot barebow recurve for 15 years and at this rate she will be as good as me in a month or so! (And has only destroyed 2 of my arrows).
