Been busy with work recently and not getting home until after dark. Anyone have any recommendations for weight training devices for moving up in poundage? Cannot go the gym right now and only able to actively shoot on the weekends.
I've looked into the following devices and methods. I've trying to find a device with a wide range of weights for home at night.
-
Stretching bands are good for warmups, but they are too light for what I'm trying to do.
-
Been doing elbow ups, push ups, and stretches, but this can only take me so far.
-
Accubow seems to do exactly what I want which is give me a wide range of weights, but the horror stories of the device is numerous. There has been cases of the housing snapping off, screw defects which break the weigh adjustment feature, and some cases of the device cracking / snapping. Paired with the 14 day warranty which starts as soon as you order the product... i'm wary.
-
Shot trainer's only help me maintain my current weight and does not solve the problem.
-
Resistance bands seem to do what I want, but I have no experience with them. They can go from 10 to 150lbs. Thoughts on these might be helpful.
Any thoughts from people that have had this issue before or gone up in weight.
