Hi, all - I help facilitate a week-long basic recurve archery camp in northern NH, USA each July. We’re now virtual, and preparing substitute activities for our campers, none of whom have archery equipment.
I’m trying for clever connections - doing string art painting with a “bow string,” and trying for some backyard frisbee/disc golf for taking a shot & accuracy, simple things. Trying for backyard clout-style work with tall socks w/ beans in the toe, toss high in the air and get close to the stake/hula hoop.
I could use 3-4 more activities for campers 12-16 years old, if the r/Archery brain trust would be up for some brainstorming. Anything with real projectiles (ie, make a rubber band slingshot w/ paper clips) is out for liability - no-go.
Thanks, all.
