So I wonder if anyone can help answer my question. I’ve been watching some videos on YouTube from a guy called Shadiversity and he’s talking about how right side of the bow firing was very prevalent in medieval times but not at all now, because of the string twisting and moving the arrow horizontally.
So my question is this - is it possible to stick your thumb out on the hand that’s holding the bow, to form a rest for the arrow - a little bit like how snooker players rest their cues on their bridge hand?
