I was looking into strength training bands, but I've read that they seem to break down pretty quickly and don't exactly replicate the muscle movement of archery.
Has anyone tried using DIY PVC bows or DIY fiberglass rod/panel bows to excercise (eg. hold the bow at full draw for 30+ seconds)? I've read/watched that cheap fiberglass panels or rods can be bundled together with duct tape and PVC pipes come in many different thicknesses and can be inserted into each other, both of which allows great flexibility in changing the draw weight for exercising.
Anyone have personal experience doing this?
