I've always found the Japanese bows fascinating and when I recently looked deeper into Kyudo, I noticed the technique they use is very ceremonious. I'm wondering if there is a reason for that flair? Where are its origins? Is it linked to the structure of the bow or does it come from actual traditions/ceremonies?
I don't know if this is the right sub for this question and whether this is the right flair, but I hope someone here can point me to a place where I can learn more about this.
