Advice on shooting a bow..

Long story short... I am new to archery and my bow and arrows arrived in the mail yesterday. It is currently set to 68#, max of 70#. The issue is my mechanical release does not come until monday. I tried shooting it twice yesterday with no hand protection, tabs, gloves etc... Well after two shots maybe three (went fishing) I stopped testing my new toy. All was fine, but I apparently pinched the nerve In those two or three shots. Prob bad form plus the absence of protection. Now my question is, I still would like to toy around with it today. I know over a long period the damage could be permanent. But do you think it would be okay to push it for a day or two and keep just using my bare hands forma day or two? I also live in BFE no local stores for supplies etc.. also this is a compound with 70% let off.

So my budget has increased and i decided i'm going for a top-level sight for the target style recurve i'm building. It seems that Shibuya and Axcel are the top end, so for anyone who has experience with either one of them, or preferably both, could you tell me the differences, pros and cons, and which one is the best value? i'm planning on buying the most expensive, so the Axcel Achieve XP - Recurve or the Shibuya Ultima RC PRO Carbon Sight . If there's any other top end sights you think are better, let me know. I want this to be the first and last sight that i ever buy, and price doesn't really matter. Another question, on the Shibuya there's an option for "Single mount" and "Double mount." What do those mean? Is there any reason mediterranean and slavic draw shoot from opposite sides of the bow

When the release imparts the same twist on the string? It was my understanding that mediterranean draw has the arrow on the side opposite of the bow of the draw hand because of the twist imparted on the string affecting the arrow on release but that should mean that slavic draw would suffer from that problem. Am I missing something with this? Shouldn't that mean you could use a mediterranean draw on the same side of the bow as the draw hand and not have issues? Are my new arrows overspined?

Are 400 spine, 27" arrows overspined for 30 pound draw weight? The guy just picked the arrows, cut them and gave them to me. my old arrows were 500 spine, 32" so when I said that they looked overspined, he just shrugged and said "the chart says they're ok".
