What would you like to have been told before your first try?

Hi all,

I’m not somebody who tries new things often, however i’m going to attend a beginner class in a few weeks time.

What would you like to have been told or great advice you’ve received along the way.

I’m sure this question has already been asked but I couldn’t find an FAQ
