Wrapping the bow limb?

Hi. I just bought a korean traditional bow (the modern version, not a hornbow/gakgung).

But hmm, I don't really like the bow's limb finishing. At first, I thought it is made of the birch bark wood, but when it arrived, it's just a birch bark sticker. and the colour doesn't look good enough (I think the finishing doesn't worth too much for what I already spent)...

So, I thought maybe I want to wrap the limb, with pu leather/ carbon fiber sticker. Is it a good idea to do it? Will it affect the bow performance especially the arrow speed?

I really really hope to hear some thoughts from you guys. Tqvm in advance 🙏☺️

Youth Bows!

Morning Reddit! My 6 year old daughter loves her toy bow and we want to surprise her with a real one. Can anyone recommend some good starting youth bows? I was thinking of a compound bow with light draw. 0-200$ would be great! submitted by /u/Demondeath1 [link] [comments] from newest submissions : Archery https://ift.tt/3fsFHct via
