tldr;
A tall guy needs long arrows. Can somebody suggest any arrows with spines that fit a ~35-40 lbs draw weight? Favorably made from carbon, but aluminium arrows are fine as well.
Hello there. I am a tall guy with long arms and a few months ago I started with (target) archery. Up until now I was meddling around with a rented 70" inch wooden take-down recurve with uncut 32" arrows. But since it'll soon be time to get my own bow (72" with est. 35 lbs on my fingers), I now need arrows with the correct length. My measured draw length is ~33,5 inch and yes, I can easily pull my current arrows of the arrow rest.
After quite an intensive bit of research I could only find these shafts that come in 34" inches:
- BlackEagle Vintage (carbon)
- Easton XX75 Platinum Plus (alu)
- Nijora Tokala (carbon; German brand)
Is this all there is out there or do you guys know any arrows or arrow makers I missed. I just need a second opinion, because I don't want to blow my money on another set of "too short" arrows.
Best regards.
