Hey everyone, I’ve never owned a shorter ATA bow. My draw is 28”. I’m not the best archer, just average. I don’t shoot past 40 very often either. I mostly hunt out of trees but plan on using some ground blinds this upcoming season.
With that background out of the way, I’m considering going with a shorter ATA for this first time but wanted input from people with experience with both ATAs of the V3X (29 & 33).
I’ve always been told that I should go with a longer ATA as it is more forgiving, but of late I’m hearing that these new Matthews bows are really breaking down that argument with how they build their bows and they seem to shoot as if their ATAs are actually 4-5 inches longer.
With my Diatribe completed, what do you guys recommend from experience with these new bows? I haven’t shot them yet and hope to get out this week to try some demos. Thanks!
