Shibuya vs Axcel vs other top end sights?

So my budget has increased and i decided i'm going for a top-level sight for the target style recurve i'm building. It seems that Shibuya and Axcel are the top end, so for anyone who has experience with either one of them, or preferably both, could you tell me the differences, pros and cons, and which one is the best value? i'm planning on buying the most expensive, so the Axcel Achieve XP - Recurve or the Shibuya Ultima RC PRO Carbon Sight . If there's any other top end sights you think are better, let me know. I want this to be the first and last sight that i ever buy, and price doesn't really matter. Another question, on the Shibuya there's an option for "Single mount" and "Double mount." What do those mean? And lastly, is the sight aperture on either of the sights suitable, or is there better after-market apertures that are better? I'm sort of thinking that is something I should be buying from my local shop so i can actually te...

Recurve string hitting wrist area...

Hi, I just upgraded my 26lb to a 40lb bow, I'm loving it's power but I am having a consistent issue with hitting my wrist with the string every time I full draw, never with half draw, please see: https://imgur.com/sltnRTI I have tried different hand positions, like rotating my wrist away from the strings path but it just feels so unsteady when drawing. I don't feel like I'm holding it majorly wrong, I never encountered this issue with my 26lb so I'm a little confused about what the cause may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am still pretty nooby with archery so perhaps I am just dumb. I believe my brace height is 7.5 inches if that helps, it is a 70" bow, my hand is comfortable on the grip when drawing, it isnt majorly up or down, and looks straight to me, and like i say, rotating it away just leaves me with little control over the bow. Edit: My string is a 70" string, the riser for my new bow is 1" longer than my 26lb...

(New?) Dual Takedown Recurve Case Option

Before I get to the case. HUGE shoutout to u/FerrumVeritas to all of his fawking awesome posts about equipment, risers, etc. Me and some friends started archery a few weeks ago, and after weeks of looking around and compiling info, the best I could share with my friends are mostly his posts interspersed with my own opinions and analysis in our shared spreadsheet. To the case! Not that I looked, but it doesn't look like anyone has done this yet? I wanted a case, but didn't want to carry around a rifle sized case. Nor did I want something obscenely heavy. I prefer a hardcase, but they were all exorbitantly expensive. I like the look of SKB, and the reviews and reputation is there; but for the price, I don't feel like the value is there. I also wanted something a bit different. Enter the Pelican 1605 Air! Website measurements showed a 25" riser was a tight fit in the Pelican, so I took a gamble that 1/2" of foam was plenty to protect the riser's ends. ...
