Hey guys! So for context I shoot with an olympic recurve, and recently I was lucky enough to get a full-sized (~2m high) locker at my club to store my gear. Up until now I had to bring everything from home each time, stored nearly in my bow bag, then take 5-10 min to unpack everything and set up the bow before being able to start shooting. So having that locker is a blessing.
Now I was wondering, because of its size I could technically be able to store my bow unstrung in it standing up, only removing the sight, stabilizers and plunger. But would that be safe for the bow in the long term? I'm worried that having the weight of the bow pressing down on one limb all the time might not be good, and will affect the performance after some time. I usually come to shoot at least once a week, but I'm still wondering if that could be an issue. Would it be safer to fully disassemble it each time before storing it? How do you guys usually store your bow when you're not using it?
