I finally received my bamboo arrow shafts today and I am trying to figure out how to make it all work.
I ordered 33" shafts but they sent me 38" so easy enough to cut them down but then comes the question of self nock or glue on. Which one would you recommend?
And how about the tips. The shafts for the most part are a consistent 5/16" on the thick end. Glue on would be the easiest but I have read about people using screw in tips but I must be missing something as I am having trouble picturing it. I've sacrificed a few arrow shafts already trying to drill out the end to fit the diameter of the inner shaft before the threads. I cant get a consistent measurement as I no longer have a micrometer. It keeps breaking and I just need some help please.
