Every other month, /r/Archery has a four-week session of its league. Anyone can come join in, and just about any round type can be shot as long as it's on a standardized target from WA/IFAA/NFAA!

Rules and whatnot can be found in the wiki, linked here. In order to enter, I'll need your username, what bow type you shoot, what round type you wish to shoot (distance/target size/number of arrows shot), and three preliminary scores from your chosen type of round along with pictures of the scorecards.

If you participated last session, you are automatically transferred to the upcoming one, so no need to sign back up!

Note: Considering the current situation with coronavirus and closures, if you wish to newly join, it might be a good idea to have your four session scores ready too. This would be a total of seven scores - three preliminary and four for each of the four weeks of the November session.

If you are already in League and you wish to withdraw, you must let me know ahead of time or you'll be left on the list and suffer the penalties of missing weeks!

Signups will close at the end of the day on December 31st, 2020, Pacific Time. and all three preliminary scores need to be turned in before then. Competition will resume on January 3rd, 2021!

Shibuya vs Axcel vs other top end sights?

So my budget has increased and i decided i'm going for a top-level sight for the target style recurve i'm building. It seems that Shibuya and Axcel are the top end, so for anyone who has experience with either one of them, or preferably both, could you tell me the differences, pros and cons, and which one is the best value? i'm planning on buying the most expensive, so the Axcel Achieve XP - Recurve or the Shibuya Ultima RC PRO Carbon Sight . If there's any other top end sights you think are better, let me know. I want this to be the first and last sight that i ever buy, and price doesn't really matter. Another question, on the Shibuya there's an option for "Single mount" and "Double mount." What do those mean? My thoughts on the Sanlida X10 Kit

Full disclosure: Sanlida reached out to me about being an "influencer." Their model, at least the one offered to me, was not something I was comfortable with. That being said, I still shoot their limbs and have a high opinion of the value of their products. The Sanlida kit has been getting a lot of buzz since Jake Kaminski started reviewing it, and with good reason. It's a relatively affordable, relatively complete setup. But is it a good value? I think it's the best "kit" available. If you don't want to pick and choose the accessories you want, it's hard to beat. But I'm not convinced it's the best use of $1000 for recurve archery. Limbs: I do absolutely recommend these limbs. At $249, I think the Miracle X10 limbs are one of the best values on the market. They honestly shot nearly as well as $600 limbs. PSE Oryx Longbow

Anyone have any reviews or experience with this puppy? I can't find it in any retailers (possibly a bad sign already?). I'm considering picking this up as it's cheap ($150 CAD) and seems like a decent beginner bow. I'm very new to this hobby/sport. Some facts I know about the bow: 40lb draw weight Right Handed De-strung when not in use Seems like a good deal to me for a beginner...any thoughts, archery world??
