To keep a long story short, I bought a compound bow (Bowtech Infinite Edge Pro) last year and the planned avenue for using it fell apart. I've recently happened upon a place where I can possibly do some shooting, however the bow has been sitting unused for a bit over a year.
It's been stored in a case at room temperature and about 45-50% humidity with little by the way of temperature and humidity variation. I've taken it out here and there to clean, oil and flex the strings, but other than that I haven't been able to do much with it. I haven't fired it since I bought it and they put brand new strings on it.
My question is, what are the odds its safe for use? Should it be okay, or should I bring it in for maintenance before using it?
