Need advice on improving my ability to draw more weight. I am getting back to archery. Picture show are my group at 20yard @35 pound with Martin Saber Takedown Recurve bow with Sage Samick limb.

Group at 20 yard Martin Saber Take Down with Sage Samick Limb 30 inch draw at 35 pound Here is a story. I am terriblely sorry about my grammar therefore I will keep it all in simple tense as much as possible. Before coming back and picking up My Recurve bow. I pick up my Bowtech Specialist 2 50-60pound @ 50 pound. I am having a hard time to draw the bow. I am able to loose only 6 shot from 30 yard and I am done. I am afraid of the next shot will not hit the target. My goal is to able to get to highest draw weight possible. So I went back to my recurve bow and shoot about 120-160 arrow within an hour for a week now. Here is a question in order to improve my draw weight. Should I increase number of my shot at 35 pound or put on a new limb that allow me to shoot at 45 pound. However I need to buy a new set of arrow. Thank you in advance. [link] [comments] |
