Why aren’t my nocks staying in my arrows? Local archery store said to glue them but then I can’t adjust them.

Was shooting at animals targets and I missed a hare twice from 15m (50ft) , both times in the exact same place! (yes I'm aware of the fact that I shoot left handed)

I’m convinced my bow is the prettiest one that’s ever existed. Real wildflowers + gorgeous pyrography on the limbs...I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on her. Figured some of you on here might appreciate this beaut.

New scope wont adjust to center shot.

Just got a new (to me) PSE Supra Focus. Ordered a new Shrewd Nomad scope. Once installing the scope I drew the bow just to see where we were as far as sight picture goes, and realized the riser was blocking the sight picture almost all the way to the pin. I have my scope rod slid all the way to the left and my micro adjust also maxed out to the left and the riser still blocks the right edge of the scope and it is still around 1/8 of an inch off of center shot. Am I missing something? I haven’t yet shot it like this or tuned it yet but I always try to start at center shot, which I can’t even achieve. submitted by /u/That_TN_Guy [link] [comments] from newest submissions : Archery https://ift.tt/3qmYZFH via

Second form check. After reading through the comments on my last form check, I tried to make some changes with my posture & tried leaning forward less. I know it's not too much but any other suggestions?

So, I’ve got this target here, and recently our arrows have started bouncing off. Particularly in the gold. Is this because the stuffing is really collapsed so it’s basically just stretched canvas? Would tacking smaller target faces onto the corners help?

Compound Bow Releases for Hunting

I just got a Bear Species Compound Bow to get into Archery Hunting. It was a package deal and came with a Trophy Ridge ArchX release. However, after playing with the release to get a feel it has a HAIR TRIGGER. Just a gentle caress on the trigger and it opens. A bit too light for a newbie. I'm looking for something, hopefully sub $100, until I'm more experienced which has a bit of a heavier trigger and can withstand hunting. Any suggestions? submitted by /u/42AngryPandas [link] [comments] from newest submissions : Archery https://ift.tt/3tjL84N via
