Hello so I have a takedown recurve and was going to get a case for it (I’m only just beginning) however I was wondering how people normally get their takedowns to and from the range. I went to the range a few times just to look and familiarise myself with the way things are done but everyone was using compounds so I was a little confused at how I would treat my take down in comparison. Is it standard for people to take their takedowns completely apart at the end of every session and put them together when they get to the range? I understand why people remove the string but the entire bow seems a bit odd to me. Figured it may be a bit time consuming if you go often (I intend on going at least a few times a week since there’s a range very close to my house) Is it normal for takedown users to take it apart every time or is there another acceptable option where you keep it in 1 piece? I noticed there are bow sleeves but wasn’t sure if that’s just a storage thing or if you can travel with...

The manual suggests 7.5-8.5, but when I shoot I get a lot of vibrations and a wobbling rattle sound on release. I'm using trad limbs at 35lbs, even tiller, shooting 3 finger under. I was shooting at 8.5 for the longest time but today I tested going higher cause Im getting tired of the wobble, and was surprised to find it super quiet at those higher numbers. I do feel that the arrows have a bit less power in them though. Is this normal and ok for me to do? Tl;dr : how do adjustable draw weight bows, and takedown bows work? Can they be features of the same bow? How large of a range can an adjustable draw weight bow be? Hey r/archery (and, r/Bowyer , if I do end up cross posting correctly), I think I have an idea you may want to hear. I use to love archery and I'm trying to get back into it, but I want to do it more on my terms. A few years back I got a Mongolian horse bow sorta design because I am a nerd and wanted to try thumb drawing, and I found to like it a lot. Eventually, it got me thinking, about modern bow design, and how you can't shoot on either side on bows with nice features, like takedown bows or adjustable draw weights. I went googling for an amedextorus breakdown recurve bow with adjustable draw weight, and it doesn't exist. Now, I dont understand the terminology for a lot of these modern things, and I'm not even sure if an adjustable bow could be apart of a takedown bow. But it seems possible. I fee...
