My wife just told me she's getting me a bow for Christmas.
My initial reaction was horror, since in a vacuum, who knows what "a bow" might mean, but then she said it came from my browsing history, which filled me with horror for... unrelated reasons. But eventually it came down to, my Amazon browsing history, and it seems I've been mostly looking at various flavors of Asiatic horsebow style bows, with a leaning toward Tatar bows. I can't narrow it down much beyond that, because I've looked at a lot of them.
Anyway, since the last thing I want to do is discourage her from trying to find gifts I might like, I'm hoping to figure out the right arrows to shoot with this bow.
So, I know that it's a 45lb bow, which is a step up in draw weight from the 35lb vintage fiberglass bow I've been shooting daily for a few months.
I know that many will say that 45lbs is too much of a step up, but 35lbs truly is easy, and I can shoot ~100 arrows a day with no perceptible effects (except my thumb gets sore by the end of it, as I'm shooting thumb release and don't yet have a thumb ring for it). My technique and form are almost certainly rubbish, but I'm having fun and slowly getting less bad at archery.
Up till now, I've been shooting with quite possibly the cheapest arrows possible, just some I grabbed online, they don't even list the spine.
NOT an endorsement, these things are crap, and I've already had to reattach nocks and fletches several times. They also fly kinda wonky, seeming to flop around in the air before starting to straighten out before hitting the target, so again, NOT an endorsement, just the arrows I've been using.

At the time, I just wanted to have something to shoot with my daughter, but since then I've come to enjoy archery more than I expected.
I guess I'm wondering if I should order some other arrows, or just shoot the arrows I have and see how it goes, and if I should get new arrows, is it even possible to get a recommendation for practice arrows based only on the draw weight and bow type?
