Hi,
I'm looking at getting my first bow and want a Turkish style horse bow.
The bow I'm interested in is:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/AliArchery-Turkish-Horseback-Archery-Traditional/dp/B07ZBCXKDX
The problem is:
- I don't know if it's any good
- It doesn't seem to give any info on the safe draw length. It only mentions 28", and from measuring (although I know it might not be the most accurate), my draw length from finger tip to finger tip, seems to be around 29" (28 3/4"), so I don't know whether I can even use it?
It seems to look very similar to the AliBow Turkish bow (with almost identical specs), and I have emailed them to find out if that's their bow. The only problem I have, is that since I'm in the UK, I'm looking at ~£50 extra for tax/vat/whatnot, and I'd rather stay around or under £100 for my first bow, especially since I'm only looking at getting a 30lbs one.
Will only be using the bow indoors/own garden.
I'm happy for any suggestions about alternative Turkish bows, but I would ideally like to buy from the UK because of import and etc fees (thank you Brexit).
