General questions and help needed

Hello all I have in my possession a hoyt ignite (compound bow?) It was left in my attic after storing things for a friend.

My questions are.

Is it a decent bow if I were to give it a go (in the correct setting obviously).

If I were to get rid how much.

And if I were to sell is there any law or legislation I need to follow.
