Need help finding natural arrow shaft materials in Florida wilderness.

On my last few hikes in central Florida I found Turkey and Osprey feathers to use as fletching, and pine resin to mix with charcoal and plant fibers to make glue. Does anyone know a decent plant to make the arrow shaft from? Most plants grow soft, crooked or curved here so I’d appreciate any tips so I can complete a few natural arrows.

Another question, on the Shibuya there's an option for "Single mount" and "Double mount." What do those mean? And lastly, is the sight aperture on either of the sights suitable, or is there better after-market apertures that are better? I'm sort of thinking that is something I should be buying from my local shop so i can actually te...
