Are there any decent archery simulators/video games out there?

So my story is kinda depressing.

I was never very good or really interested in any sports when I was growing up, but when I started high school, the school I went to actually had archery as a school sport! I have always been a huge fan of medevil war films and video games, so the idea of being a "real archer" immediately caught my attention and I signed up in my first year.

My parents bought me a wooden recurve bow and I started going to practices and competing in the school competitions. I was actually pretty good at it, and I came second in the recurve bow category in my first school competition. Then I started noticing something strange.

As time went on, my progress started deteriorating. My arrows were straying further and further from the bull's eye every week, even though I was always shooting from the same distances and never changed my sight settings. I also noticed that the effort needed to draw my bow string back was getting greater and greater, which made no sense because my arms were getting stronger.

Just one year later, at my last school competition, I just couldn't get my bow string back and I forced it back with all of my might. I felt a sharp, painful pull up the right side of my back and I collapsed to the ground in agony. My parents took me to the doctor and after an examination, I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and I needed to begin bracing treatment immediately.

That was when I was around 13/14 years old. I'm 26 now and I have since fixed my back up quite nicely. When I began my treatment though, I was told that I could never shoot a bow again because of the back muscles I would be putting under strain and reverse my treatment's progress.

Since then, I have always craved some sort of archery video game or simulator that I could play instead. Something with bow customizations, competitions to shoot in, etc. but I have never found anything like that. Anybody know of any decent archery games?

Thanks for any suggestions and for reading my story. I was really excited to stumble upon this sub. :)

I would take a takedown recurve bow as my primary SHTF/bugout weapon

This is the type of opinion that is subject to change. In the near future, deteriorating political, economic, and social circumstances may result in many people having to rely on weapons to obtain food and defend themselves on a regular basis. Alternately, some people desire to leave civilization for a life of self-sufficiency in the wilderness, perhaps temporarily, and will encounter the same challenges. Generally, firearms are the preferred weapons among people who seek to prepare themselves for these events. I have owned and used a wide variety of firearms over many years and own several right now. If I had to pick one weapon to serve as a primary weapon (a full-size weapon intended to be used offensively, such as for hunting, and carried in the hand or by sling as opposed to a secondary weapon, which is complimentary, used defensively and carried on-person and possibly concealed, such as a handgun) I just might prefer my ILF recurve over any kind of rifle or shotgun. Having Trouble Figuring out a Backstop Situation

When I was around thirteen, I got my first recurve bow, and every weekend I practiced really diligently. I feel like I got pretty good for a casual archer. But having to wait for the weekend and going to the same indoor range just to shoot my bow for an hour or two got boring. So as life got busier, I stopped shooting as much. Alas, this is my sad tale. Now I'm 22, I live in a new area, and got a new awesome 50# recurve bow! The only problem is, I don't have the time or the money to go to an indoor range, and I'd just run into the same problem. I feel like my backyard is big enough, I called the city and they said so long as I'm not shooting at other people's houses or if I have a large enough structure in the path of my shot, I was clear to shoot in my yard. At the moment I'm looking at shooting at the side of my garage where it's probably around 10ft wide and about as tall. I don't think I have quite 30ft of distance, maybe not even 25ft, but don'
