I have a Southwest Archery Ghost bow, 64" and 35#. I got it because even though I am 5'10" (and a half!), I have a fairly wide wingspan. My GF has my previous bow, a PSE Heritage, 62" and 35#. Her bow also has wider limbs (the taper of the limbs between the two are different). Here's the thing: holding both bows at full draw, hers seems easier to hold. But mine is longer. So shouldn't it be the other way around? Since hers is shorter, I should be overdrawing it more than I can overdraw mine. I thought that was the point of longer bows.
So am I just not thinking of this correctly? Is it the difference in manufacturers?
