So I just started taking lessons and beginning my archery journey. I need advice on things to look for when buying a bow.
The range/store near me offers rentals only when taking lessons, but offers range time discounts if you buy a bow from their store. Sounds appealing but I don't want to blind faith trust that they are selling me what I need or not swindling me.
I am 6'2" tall if that helps a little with the measurement, I am looking at starting on recurve, I am practicing targeting not hunting, and I don't want to buy a bow that I am going to grow out of too soon if that's possible.
What other things do I need to consider when buying what I need to practice? Arrow types?
I live in a suburban area so setting up a target in my backyard isn't quite feasible because its only about 20yds depth, so a range seems like the best place to practice.
