I've been in a hiatus from shooting compound bows for about 4 years now, and I'm wanting to get back into it. There has always been an issue for me though... the draw length. I'm 6'9" tall and a bow has never fit me correctly. I was told I'd would need a bow with a 34"-35" draw length, but I'm struggling to find any information on if companies even make bows like that without it being one custom made for someone.
My old bow is a cheapo Hoyt, probably from the late 90's I bought from a pawn shop with a 31 inch draw and it never felt comfortable to shoot. My old archery coach even put an extra long (1.5) d-loop to try to give me a decent anchor point. That hardly helped.
Any recommendations on bows that have long draw lengths? Or any tips for tall archers? Even if its an older model, I'd be willing to look into it. Just want to shoot again! Thanks in advance.
