Howdy folks, just bought a 50# recurve bow and I'm having a ton of fun with it, I also have an old 25# composite bow that I recieved as an xmas gift years and years back that ive finally started using as well. I'm a pretty large guy and I train powerlifting so I bought what I thought would be an okay starting weight, but now that I've shot it for a couple hours it definitely seems that I was a little ambitious, with no real idea what I'm doing I'm wondering if my poor accuracy is from being brand new, or the heavy draw weight, or apparently I have draw the arrow with my left hand because my brain is trash and decided to have cross dominance with my hands and eyes, or most likely a combination of all three?
TLDR; Brand new and will take any advice, but mostly wondering on ways to improve accuracy, currently in my back yard im set up about 20+ feet from a 2x3 foot target and I land about 90% of the shots but with zero consistency. Thanks in advanced for any tips :)
