Quieting down my old Hoyt Magnatec bow. Left handed

I have shot thousands of arrows through this bow as really like it. The Tec riser can be finicky when replacing rests but have found a setup I like that works. Only issue I have now is the noise. My buddy had a Fred Bear compound that was about 10 years old that came with a cable slide that had a string stop integrated into it. Tried it on my bow and it was immediately silent. Problem is that his is right handed and the cable slide portion is notched differently and causes my cables to rub, so only shot a few times. Cannot find that setup in LH and can’t find a string stop that will work with my bow as it’s not drilled on the rear of the riser the way the newer bows are. Any suggestions on where I could find a string stop that would work on this old girl?

Shibuya vs Axcel vs other top end sights?

So my budget has increased and i decided i'm going for a top-level sight for the target style recurve i'm building. It seems that Shibuya and Axcel are the top end, so for anyone who has experience with either one of them, or preferably both, could you tell me the differences, pros and cons, and which one is the best value? i'm planning on buying the most expensive, so the Axcel Achieve XP - Recurve or the Shibuya Ultima RC PRO Carbon Sight . If there's any other top end sights you think are better, let me know. I want this to be the first and last sight that i ever buy, and price doesn't really matter. Another question, on the Shibuya there's an option for "Single mount" and "Double mount." What do those mean? And lastly, is the sight aperture on either of the sights suitable, or is there better after-market apertures that are better? Help me identify a problem with aiming.

So im trying to learn how to gap shoot, but the problem is, the first step is 'use the tip of the arrow'. Now when I do this, I can already tell before shooting that if I use the tip of the arrow, the shot will go way left, this is obviously before even factoring in the gap above and below the target. I don't have too much trouble grouping in the yellow at 10ms, but the way im 'aiming' is just looking at the target and knowing that I need to shoot a certain distance to the right and a certain distance down. Im not using the arrow tip here...its hard to say exactly what im using as the reference its just a feeling I guess? I wouldn't say its instinctive as im definitely trying to aim I just don't know how im doing it, and I don't think it would hold up as I increase distance so I want to learn how to gap shoot properly. I appreciate having to adjust up or down as thats part of gap shooting, but if im having to compensate right, what could the problem ...

Question to arrows

Hello! I just started with archery, I joined a club and bought a recurve set "for beginners" (it was on sale and had everything i as a newbie needed) Sadly the arrows I got don't work for me And I don't know anything about arrows. I tried to find out what arrows I needed, but I don't know what spine i need, or how long they are supposed to be also I don't know what tips are allowed for competition (it seems mine are for hunting/3d target shooting) How do I calculate my spine or length? I have a 68" recurve with 24 lbs limbs I think my draw length might be around 25 to 27. What is the difference between "1170" and "16/16" ? I mean, what does the "/" in particular mean?
