So I know the "big" loop on the string is supposed to go on the top limb, and that when unstringing you're supposed to insert the lower limb on the little pocket on the stringer, same way as when you're stringing it. My only question is whether there's any functional reason for this or if it's just a convention? It seems like, especially with symmetric length limbs it should be the same either way, but maybe I'm missing something
