Preface: I was recently introduced to archery by my cousin who shoots compound, but have developed an interest in shooting recurve. I went to a shop and was able to try out a modern barebow setup and enjoyed shooting that more than compound. I wasn't able to shoot an Olympic recurve setup (the shop was mostly for compound/hunting), but I am still very much interested in that as well.
My question, as the title suggests, are there risers available that are "ideal" for both modern barebow and Olympic recurve? I get that modern barebow is just an Olympic recurve without the accessories, but are there any standout risers that are strong contenders for both styles of shooting? I've read the guide posted by FerrumVeritas, but I'd like to get more specific answers/direction. For example, the Kinetic Vygo seemed to have popped up a few times on the subreddit as a riser that could be used to transition from barebow to Olympic and vice-versa.
I'd only be shooting as a hobby for fun so I'd like to make just one purchase that I could use for a long time. If I'm being a little too vague, please let me know. I really don't want suffer from buyers remorse haha.
