So I bought a bunch of arrows on amazon when I still knew next to nothing about spine and draw weight and how they interact. The arrows are much too stiff for my three recurve bows that all have around 35lbs draw weight (on paper, in reality it is likely a good deal more because of my 32'' draw length) and they fishtail pretty badly on release.
I have one target recurve with an adjustable button/plunger arrow rest. How do I adjust that to compensate as much as possible for the excessive stiffness? Should the spring of the plunger be set stiff or soft? Should the arrow point slightly to one side or as straight ahead as possible?
