Howdy arrow spitters I am in need of advice! Thus far I've only owned take down recurves where I've always shot off the shelf using the split finger mediterranean draw. I recently purchased two thumb rings, a stiff copper one and a flexible leather one. Now I want to buy a budget low draw weight (#30) asiatic recurve bow and the short Ottoman/Turkish style has caught my eye. From what I've read they are snappy and flat shooting bows that are surprisingly fast for their length and draw weight. I've narrowed it down to three options: the Alibow fiberglass Turkish bow with ox horn string bridges ($100), the Arrouha turkish bow ($129) and the Deer Seeker turkish bow ($159). Prices include shipping but not tax. Any archers with experience shooting any of these three or know someone who has owned one and can relay their experience, advice on which one would be best to learn thumb draw on would be very appreciated!
