I'm a newbie archer. I used to practice bujinkan budo Taijutsu in 2018 and my sensei thought us the basics of archery and I actually could hit the target on that day. After that I was really excited to learn more and bought myself a bow. it is an 18lbs recurve bow. After a few months playing around I moved town and now I have nowhere to practice so I stopped practicing.
Now, three years later I have somewhere to practice again. Yesterday I assembled my bow and realized that I can't even hold it long enough to aim properly, my arms start to shake. I'm not sure if my posture is wrong and I'm putting to much strength on the wrong muscles or if I'm just weak and should get a lighter bow (I only had one day of lesson so I don't really know if I'm doing it right or not)
