My wife is using a SF Forged+ riser and 22 lbs limbs. Since she had had the bow, the first shot always had a bit of "twang". It only happens the first time the shoots after stringing the bow, it's fine for the rest of the session.
This has been happning for years, the experts at our club always said it's fine, but I'm not so sure anymore.
A few days back I took apart my wife's bow and checked everything. Checked tiller, aligned the limbs etc. Anyway, I rechecked the tiller of the bow before her first shot and then again after. There was a massive change. It went from -0.1 cm to almost -1.5 cm.
Now, this change in tiller might be due to my work on the bow on the weekend, but I also have a feeling it could be related to that twang sound she gets when she shoots for the first time.
Any ideas?
