Using pressure button on a wooden riser possible?

Hello Reddit

I am having trouble setting up my pressure button up on my core archery wooden riser.
to my understanding I am supposed to align the arrow slightly to the left of the bow string whilst the string is aligned with the riser.
my problem is that I can't because the pivot point of the magnetic arrow rest I am using means the tip is too far away before I even set up the pressure button.

So my question basically boils down to is the wooden riser designed so that a pressure button doesn't need to be used at all? and that hole is for those bolt through arrow rests?

If you've been on an archery forum in the last few years, you've seen the discussions about Lars Anderson and his speed shooting videos. The comments across the internet about his videos are almost universally negative. You wouldn't believe the hate this guy gets. In a way, it's understandable.
