I’ve been shooting for a couple months now and I really love archery. I’m going old school and using a bare recurve - no sights or such - with the plan to eventually hunt small game and then large. My problem is finding an upgrade that will not utterly demolish my bank account. Im looking to spend under 300 on a 68-70in recurve with a 50-60lb draw weight that would be ideal for hunting. I’ve been googling the earth and my inexperience prevents me from making an executive decision. The draw weight will not be too much; I have previously been a serious body-builder that fell into bad habits due to having children, but I’m still very strong and relatively fit, as well as my introductory bow purchased off of Amazon is allegedly 40lbs and not a problem for me to draw back 28in+. Still learning the lingo, too. Thanks for any advice and recommendations.
