[EU] Looking for a great beginner horsebow to get into archery

Hi, I've always wanted to get into archery. I like to would start my archery adventure by starting with a horsebow. However, I'm having a hard time deciding what bow to buy. I've already done some research and found out I need a low draw weight bow to start out so I guess I'm mainly looking for a good beginner 25-30 bow I can use to learn archery with and then upgrade this bow when I feel like it. A lot of people recommend alibow but my main issue with them is that they're located outside the EU and I'll probably have to pay additional fees on top of the price of the bow. I've seen some people talk about grozer but I don't know how good their beginner bows are. I've also looked into archery sets that include everything you'd need (such as: https://bowshop.eu/our-bows/sets/HUNGARIAN-SET) but it's hard to find any data on the bow that in the packet and if it's any good. I'd also like to know what arrows/target you guys would recommend for a complete beginner.

Shibuya vs Axcel vs other top end sights?

So my budget has increased and i decided i'm going for a top-level sight for the target style recurve i'm building. It seems that Shibuya and Axcel are the top end, so for anyone who has experience with either one of them, or preferably both, could you tell me the differences, pros and cons, and which one is the best value? i'm planning on buying the most expensive, so the Axcel Achieve XP - Recurve or the Shibuya Ultima RC PRO Carbon Sight . If there's any other top end sights you think are better, let me know. I want this to be the first and last sight that i ever buy, and price doesn't really matter. Another question, on the Shibuya there's an option for "Single mount" and "Double mount." What do those mean? And lastly, is the sight aperture on either of the sights suitable, or is there better after-market apertures that are better? I'm sort of thinking that is something I should be buying from my local shop so i can actually te...

Is there any reason mediterranean and slavic draw shoot from opposite sides of the bow

When the release imparts the same twist on the string? It was my understanding that mediterranean draw has the arrow on the side opposite of the bow of the draw hand because of the twist imparted on the string affecting the arrow on release but that should mean that slavic draw would suffer from that problem. Am I missing something with this? Shouldn't that mean you could use a mediterranean draw on the same side of the bow as the draw hand and not have issues? Are my new arrows overspined?

Are 400 spine, 27" arrows overspined for 30 pound draw weight? The guy just picked the arrows, cut them and gave them to me. my old arrows were 500 spine, 32" so when I said that they looked overspined, he just shrugged and said "the chart says they're ok". Can anyone confirm my doubts? submitted by /u/Astaziel [link] [comments] from newest submissions : Archery https://ift.tt/3pmjVLf via
