So it's been a few days and I'm not sure what is it but I'm consistently hitting the target a lot less. I've been practicing pretty much every day for almost six months and, I mean, I'm not great, but by this point it at least hit my 40x40cm almost every time. The past few days it's like something snapped and I can't seem to put 5 shots on target in a row. Particularly, I always seem to go like a foot to the left and I don't get what's going on. I feel like I'm doing the same I always do, target picture looks alright, I release, feels the same as when I actually hit the target, but somehow the arrow ends up a foot to the left. This happens about 1/5. It can't be the arrow or the bow because there's no one arrow with which it happens more frequently, and if it was the bow, I guess it wouold happen pretty much every time.
Any idea what might it be? I almost wanna say it's psychological, cause once it happens, it just keeps on happening. I just do this for recreation, I'm not trying to compete or anything like that. I also do it on my own, since I don't really have access to a club, especially with the pandemic, so I can't really check with a coach. I really just want to enjoy shooting and not be frustrated, but every time it happens I almost feel like it triggers me (don't want to make light of people with actual PTSD, I just can't think of a better description).
